This is a new style of lantern that I have started making recently. The pattern is inspired by a lantern depicted in an 18th century French drawing. I like how the rows of round holes in the top scatter the light and let heat out, and how the lampshade mica panes in the body glow when lit. The lantern has both side handle and top carrying ring.

14” tall, including carrying ring, 5.5” in diameter.
Bright, and, red or black painted finish with lite or amber lampshade mica door pane.
Sturdy construction for heavy use.

Each lantern is made by hand, one at a time. There can be significant differences in the appearance of the finish compared to the photos.

I am backed up on orders through mid-November. Please note that it will be at least December before new orders are ready.
