Do you need to see where you're going, but love a punched tin lantern? Well, here is the best of both worlds in one lantern. The pierced tin pattern looks great lit up, while the weathered glass door panel helps you see where you are ’re going.

Each lantern is made one at a time, and there WILL be small differences in finish and construction for each lantern. Please allow 8 to 12 weeks for delivery.

  • 16” tall, including carrying ring, 5” in diameter, excluding the handle, about 8” wide with handle.

  • A heavy-duty weathered glass pane

  • Sturdy construction for heavy use

  • It can be carried by the back handle or hung from the top ring.

 This lantern is patterned from photos and artwork depicting a similar antique lantern. The lantern is undated, but I would place it anywhere between the late 17th and mid-19th centuries. The pierced-tin decoration is a simple geometric pattern typical of the period.
