Rubens Lantern

An antiqued round candle lantern inspired by a Peter Paul Rubens painting.

This unique lantern is a custom design created specifically for the Rubenshuis (Peter Paul Rubens House Museum) in Antwerp, Belgium. The museum requested a series of lanterns for guests to use during garden tours of the house. Each lantern stands approximately 16 inches tall, including the carrying ring, and has a diameter of about 5.5 inches without the handle.

Four vintage lanterns with rusted metal and glass panels, one painted red, placed on a stone ledge outdoors with trees and buildings in the background.
A detailed painting of a group of people, including a woman with dark hair, and men with various facial features, some with beards, in a classical or religious art style.
